Adjustments to Quick Dash (2022-9 Ver.)

09/07/2022 12:30 AM (CDT) ~ 09/21/2022 01:00 AM (CDT)
Thank you for your continued support of Dragon Ball Legends.
Thank you for all your feedback regarding the update we released on 08/24/2022.
We made adjustments to CPU battle behavior and Quick Attack damage as part of the 08/31/2022 update.
The following balance adjustments were made in the 09/07/2022 update.

Cooldown After Quick Dash

Quick Dashes and Quick Attacks were designed in response to previously dominant strategies that favored passively waiting for enemy attacks by making it more advantageous to go on the offensive.
However, some characters were able to use their Special Arts immediately after a Quick Dash to knock back certain opponents, resulting in lengthy and overly powerful combos.
In order to address this issue while preserving the merits of Quick Dash and Quick Attack, there will now be a cooldown period after executing a Quick Dash.
During this cooldown, you cannot use Special Arts or Special Move Arts. It can be canceled by performing the following actions.
How to Cancel the Cooldown
  • Tap Attacks
  • Stepping to the left or right. (This includes evading with a Vanishing Step.)
  • Strike Arts and Blast Arts
  • Charging Ki
We will continue to keep a close eye on game balance after this update. If necessary, we will also consider making adjustments to Quick Attack such as changing its damage and whether or not it can result in a critical hit.
We recognize that not enough information was provided prior to this update and apologize for any confusion caused.
We will continue to work on planning, development, and management in order to better respond to your feedback and requests.
We hope you continue to enjoy Dragon Ball Legends.
