Activate a Quick Dash by flicking up when at long range to instantly move close to the enemy. Quick Dashing will avoid Tap Shots, but Arts attacks will still hit you. If you tap while Quick Dashing, you'll perform a Quick Attack. Quick Attacks do more damage than Tap Attacks, but they will cancel each other out if they collide. Also, if a Quick Attack is used during a combo, the damage is drastically reduced compared to a regular Quick Attack. Quick Dash and Quick Attack are new battle actions that have been under consideration for some time and were designed as a countermeasure against the effectiveness of overly passive playstyles.
