When Your Opponent Predicts Your Rising Rush
Rising Rush is a move that's meant to change the tide of battle in a single attack. That's why the cost of failure is so great, and if your opponent predicts your attack while you're already at a disadvantage, you'll find yourself in a lot of trouble.
As many of you requested, in Battle Version 2.3 we have reduced the duration of the opening that occurs after your opponent guesses your card during Rising Rush, and made it so you can evade your opponent's attack.
Initial Dragon Ball Count
Previously, the number of Dragon Balls attached to Arts Cards at the beginning of a battle differed for each player and resulted in unfair advantages in the time it took to be able to use Rising Rush.
To address this, both players will now start the battle with two Dragon Balls on their Arts Cards.
*These changes only apply to PvP.
Combo Compensation (Dragon Ball Rates)
We've reduced the rate at which Dragon Balls are applied to Arts Cards that are drawn during a combo using a steps or other methods.
The goal is to prevent excessive unbalance due to players holding their opponents in a combo for long periods of time then quickly defeating one of their characters with a Rising Rush early in battle.
Cover Change
Removed the restriction on the amount of times you can cover change when on the receiving end of a combo.
With the ability to make multiple cover changes, defenders will have to decide which characters to receive attacks with while also keeping substitution counts in mind, and attackers will have to carefully decide when to use powerful Arts.

We will continue to work hard to provide you with the most enjoyable game possible, so please do not hesitate to give us your feedback regarding the battle system.
We hope you continue to enjoy Dragon Ball Legends.
